Divya Panchang does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information. There is no login, no advertising and no analytics in the app.
The city you choose, the vrats you select, your notification choices, and any family birthdays or remembrance dates you enter are saved only on your own phone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Removing the app removes them.
The app works without your location: you can pick a city or type a place. If you choose "take my place from the phone", the app asks for your approximate location once and uses it only to calculate sunrise and muhurat times for your place. The location is saved on your phone and is not sent to us or to anyone else.
The panchang is calculated on your phone and works without internet. When internet is available, the app downloads a small public list of festival additions and corrections from our server. This request contains no information about you.
If you allow notifications, the app shows the day's panchang and reminders for vrats and family dates. These are created on your phone. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone's settings.
When you use the share button, a picture of the day's panchang is handed to the app you choose (for example WhatsApp). Nothing is shared unless you do this yourself.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
